Kettlers top of the line Indoor Cycle the Racer blows away the field by adding computer adjusted resistance! A feature not available on any other Indoor Cycle, this allows for pre-set programs in which the computer will adjust the resistance for you. You can also design your own programs for the computer to run you through. You can even monitor your heart rate on using the included ear clip sensor.

Ergo Monitor: The Jumbo LCD monitor on the Kettler Ergo Racer tracks time, speed, pedaling rate, distance, energy consumption, room temperature. You can also track Heart Rate and Pulse Recovery through the monitor from the included ear clip Heart Rate monitor.
Workout Programs: The Kettler Ergo Racer has 6 pre-set courses with computer adjusted resistance and 2 user created programs to tailor to your personal fitness needs.
Flywheel Weight: The 40 lb flywheel on the Kettler Ergo Racer is on the lighter side, but has no effect on the resistance because the Kettler Ergo Racer utilizes computer adjusted magnetic resistance instead of a crank. This allows for push button adjustment and pre-set programming.
Pedal Type: The dual sided pedals feature SPD Clips on one side and standard flat pedals on the other. SPD clips are the safest way to keep your feet secured to the pedals, but require you to have a special type of shoe. Standard pedals don't hold your feet to the pedal at all meaning you don't get any pull on the pedals which can give you more power and build leg muscles evenly.
Seat Adjustment: The ergonomic bike seat adjusts horizontally and vertically with a fully adjustable locking system, so you can get your seat in exactly the right position.
Handle Bar Adjustment: The multi position handle bars let you ride in a variety of positions from a normal seated position to a crouched sprint to a standing hill climb leaning out over the handle bars. The handle bars adjust horizontally and vertically with a fully adjustable locking system, so you can get a perfect fit.
Resistance Adjustment: Kettler is the only manufacturer of computer controlled resistance on an Indoor Cycle. This allows push button resistance adjustment and pre-set programming ? with the computer adjusting the resistance to take you through a set workout.
Smart Release Gears: On regular Indoor Cycles, when you stop actively pedaling the pedals keep moving along with the flywheel, and if you have SPD or Toe Clip pedals, your feet will keep moving right along with the pedals. Smart Release Gears allow the pedals to stay still or move backward while the flywheel keeps turning. Outdoor bike riders will recognize this as downhill coasting.
Floor Protectors: The deluxe floor protectors on the Kettler Ergo Racer protect floors from being scratched and carpets from rubbing, but for even more protection we recommend an equipment mat be used underneath.
Water Bottle Holder: Indoor Cycling is tough, and you're going to sweat, make sure you stay hydrated by keeping a bottle of water in the holder at all times.
